Programming

Programming

The human experience of your integrated electronics system is provided by a skilled programmer, applying interface design and operational standards unique to AUDIOVISIONS. We have combined decades of experience in control system deployment with the creative talent of an expert human interface designer to deliver simple, reliable operation of the various electronics systems.

Simplicity, the goal of every control system. The programming department at AUDIOVISIONS has honed our skill at reducing complex control scenarios down to the simplest actions for the end user. Combining the power of computer processing with beautiful touchscreen layouts, our control systems make you the master of technology. We try our hardware choices out on ourselves first, testing for component compatibility and reliability. Your system will work consistently and reliably for years with minimal maintenance because we aren’t using you as the testing ground for unproven products. Our control systems combine the operation of many subsystems onto a single software application so you can avoid switching apps and sending multiple commands to achieve a single purpose. For example, an “away” command can turn out your lights, turn off the music, and set your alarm from a single button press. Or an “Entertain” button can turn on appropriate music, set a beautiful lighting scene, and activate a water feature for your social event. Our human interface design is scalable to a variety of control devices, including iPads, iPad minis, and iPhones. Keypads can provide basic controls while blending unobtrusively into your décor. Every integrated system we design reflects the specific needs of the client, with attention to lifestyle, entertainment preferences, and budget. Our proprietary software is adapted to address the scope and features you desire, for a custom result that fits you. As new technologies emerge, our systems can be upgraded to access and control new products and services that interest you. AUDIOVISIONS will be your technology partner as your needs change over time.

Documentation

Documentation

Documentation refers to the multitude of documents, both physical and electronic, required to successfully design, engineer, and deliver, a beautiful-looking, easy to use, and highly reliable control and entertainment system.

With an ever-expanding array of technology and entertainment options for homes and business, choosing the combination of products and services that will work best for you can be a daunting task. And for the company charged with implementing that vision, a highly detailed and methodical plan is absolutely critical. In many ways, that process is similar working with an architect to design a new home. As a highly engineering-centric company, we've created a comprehensive, industry-leading documentation package to ensure success at every stage of the project. The consultation/design phase is of paramount importance. For some clients, a home or business filled with cutting-edge products with high "wow-factor" is fun and important. For many others, basic technology solutions that simply provide for enhanced convenience and entertainment are the better solution. After meeting with a System Designer to discuss options, we'll create a unique, pictorial-based proposal that makes the process of understanding and determining what will be installed in each area of the home incredibly easy to understand and enjoyable. Once the design is finalized, we'll get to work on all of the documents that will be used by our team, as well as other subcontractors on the project, so everyone works in unison. Every wire run and every connection to every piece of technology equipment is represented in extremely detailed schematics. And from recessed TV openings, motorized lifts, theater seating & flooring elevations, screen/projector configurations etc., detailed architectural drawings are created and distributed to all of the trades to coordinate a perfect finished product. Other examples include equipment rack layouts, equipment room thermal calculations, high-voltage power requirements, the list goes on.

Documentation Benefits:

  • Provides a visual, collaborative platform for the clients and system designer during the initial system design phase to help dial in a scope of work that will align with clients’ lifestyle, aesthetics, and budget.
  • By creating detailed wiring schematics showing every wire and connection in the system, we can ensure that nothing is forgotten during prewire phase, and all equipment necessary for reliable, long-term operation is included in the design.
  • Provides a common set of plans so project team members can work in unison on parts of the design that require cooperation of multiple trades.
